Important: If you are enrolled in the General Studies Degree program, we strongly recommend you consult with your academic advisor before you transfer or withdraw from a course to ensure that you are still meeting graduation requirements.

Transfers
You may transfer from one distance education course to another during the first 60 days you are enrolled in a course. The date you transfer will be the official date of your registration for the new course. You may transfer a registration for a course only once. Fees cannot be transferred from one student to another.

The transfer fee for undergraduate courses is $35, plus $6.74 for each assignment already submitted.

No refunds will be given after 60 days. We don’t refund the learning guide fee or the $65 service/technology fee.

To transfer a course, use the Transfer Request form.

Withdrawals
You must fill out and send us a withdrawal form to withdraw from a distance education course. We cannot accept a phone call as your official notice of withdrawal. Once you withdraw from a course, your registration for the course cannot be reinstated. However, you may re-register in the course at a later date. Keep in mind that fees may increase by the time you re-register. To withdraw from a course, use the Course Withdrawal Request form.

If you withdraw from an undergraduate course within 30 days of your registration date, we will refund the course tuition, less $6.74 per assignment submitted. If you withdraw from an undergraduate course between 30 and 60 days of your registration date, we will refund one-half the course tuition, less $6.74 per assignment already submitted.

No refunds will be given after 60 days. We don't refund the learning guide fee or the $65 service/technology fee.
