Special Needs
The Indiana University School of Continuing Studies is committed to supporting students with special needs.
Through the School of Continuing Studies, students can
- choose from self-paced high school and undergraduate independent study courses.
- study from home in an environment that conforms to their learning styles and preferences.
- receive one-on-one support and feedback from instructors and staff.
In addition, students with documented disabilities can receive exam and instruction accommodations such as
- extra time for exams.
- a reader and/or scribe.
- audiotaped exams.
- enlarged-print exams.
- adaptive hardware and software.
- enlarged, electronic text from print learning materials.
- conversion of print learning materials to an audio format such as MP3.
