Registrations in independent study courses end May 31, 2012
Due to the impending closure of the School of Continuing Studies,
- The school will no longer accept registrations in any undergraduate independent study courses after May 31, 2012 (this spring). Students who register for independent study courses have one year from the registration date to complete each course (including all exams).
- Students will no longer be able to purchase course extensions after May 31, 2012. Students may not purchase an extension for a course at the same time they register for a course.
- All independent study courses (including all exams) must be completed by June 1, 2013.
- Registrations in print correspondence courses ended December 31, 2011. All course work (including exams and extensions) in print courses must be completed by December 31, 2012.
Important: Courses that are not completed by June 1, 2013, will close, and any course that is not completed by June 1, 2013, will not be considered for academic credit. We will not issue refunds for uncompleted courses.
You may continue to register for courses until May 31, 2012, and take advantage of independent study’s affordable tuition:
In state: $183.07 per credit hour
Out of state: $212.82 per credit hour
