An introduction to Spanish through speaking, listening to, reading, and writing the language, with a focus on vocabulary and grammar. Culture study centers on the United States, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain. Students will need to download and listen to MP3 files (iPod, MP3 player, computer with speakers or headphones); download and open pdfs (Adobe Reader); view animations (Adobe Flash Player); and view videos (QuickTime). Students will need to call in (toll-free) their speaking assignments. Choose printed textbook or DVD-ROM textbook.
