What
Indiana University High School is a distance education program serving the academic needs of high school students and adult learners around the world.
Students in the program can take individual courses or choose from three tracks (general education, college prep, and academic honors) to earn a complete diploma.
Why
Indiana University High School serves the needs of students who - for whatever reason - want or need an alternative to a brick-and-mortar school. It also works with other educational providers to expand opportunities for students.

Who
Indiana University High School is administered by the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies. The experienced IUHS staff includes a director and associate director, academic counselors, a recorder, and a full complement of licensed and certified instructors.
Students come from diverse backgrounds and have a variety of needs. They include adults, public school students, homeschoolers, performers, athletes, students with disabilities, military personnel and their families, incarcerated students, gifted students, home-bound students, and many more.
When
Indiana University has provided high school distance education courses since 1925. The IUHS diploma program was created in 1999.
Students can register for courses or apply to the IUHS diploma program at any time of the year.
Where
Indiana University High School's administrative offices are located on the Indiana University campus in Bloomington.
Students include more than 600 Hoosiers - and 1,950 students from across the United States and in 35 countries - who complete courses annually.
