The University Continuing Education Association (UCEA) has elected Daniel (Danny) Callison commissioner of the UCEA Commission on Learning, Instruction, and Technology.
Callison is statewide dean and professor of the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies. He coordinates the academic programs in general studies for eight Indiana University campuses and supervises the instructional design and development of the “ninth virtual campus” for distance delivery. His background includes more than 25 years of teaching and administration experience in higher education, including service as executive associate dean of the School of Library and Information Science at Indiana University—Purdue University Indianapolis.
The UCEA Commission on Learning, Instruction, and Technology provides continuing higher education professionals with resources and professional development opportunities to maximize teaching and learning in traditional and alternative formats, and in technology-enhanced environments.
