Daniel S. Bopp has been appointed as the manager for institutional relations in the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies (SCS). Based in Santa Barbara, California, Bopp initiates and maintains relations between the School of Continuing Studies and secondary schools, homeschooling organizations, community colleges, universities, prison educators, and other educational groups in order to deliver SCS courses and programs at a distance. His location in California gives Californian educators the opportunity to learn, first-hand, about the university that Newsweek magazine recently named as it "hottest big state school."
Bopp has always been involved in education. For 20 years, he taught high school English in public and private schools in Missouri, New Hampshire, and Indiana. He has taught English courses for the SCS Independent Study Program since 1976.
Not confining himself to the field of education, Bopp has also earned a law degree from Indiana University, has served as a judicial clerk for the Indiana Supreme Court, and was a deputy prosecuting attorney for Monroe County, Indiana.
For specific information about how your educational institution can benefit from SCS distance education courses and programs, please contact Daniel S. Bopp. He will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
