Borrowed Course Materials

Some courses include such materials as CDs that you may borrow from us. There is no fee for these borrowed materials, but a refundable deposit is required. The amount of deposit varies by course and is noted in the course descriptions in our course catalog.

Unless otherwise stated in a course description, the deposit for borrowed materials must be paid when you register for a course. Your deposit will be refunded if you return the borrowed materials, undamaged, within two years of registering for the course or within 60 days of completing the course, whichever comes first.

If you transfer or withdraw from a course, you must return all borrowed materials for the course before your transfer or withdrawal can be processed. In some courses, you must return borrowed materials sent with your course registration packet before you may borrow materials needed later in the course.

In all cases, when you are finished with borrowed materials (and do not need them to prepare for an exam or to complete an assignment), return them to us promptly so that other students may use them.
