The transfer information below pertains to students in the School of Continuing Studies systemwide distance degree programs administered through Bloomington.
With the closure of the School of Continuing Studies, degree-seeking SCS general studies students will need to transfer to a campus general studies program.
As of July 1, 2012, Indiana University East will assume administrative responsibility for the undergraduate independent study courses for the A.A.G.S. and B.G.S. degree programs and will continue to deliver the online BGS program.
Over the past several months, we have endeavored to contact all general studies students within 30 hours of completing their degree, and we hope we have reached all of those students.
If you are a student in the SCS Distance General Studies Degree program who intends to graduate but who cannot graduate by May 2012, it is crucial that you contact general studies advisor Jim Johnson as soon as possible. Jim will discuss the transfer options available to you and help you get established in a campus program by July 1, 2012.
